It's been awhile a lot has happend

I am sorry that I haven't written in a really long time but as I was telling my parents the other day, I have never been a very good jounaler. Since the Jeju trip a whole bunch of stuff has happened that's for sure. I have successfully made it through 6 weeks of summer term. It has been a bit crazy at times with classes of 15 or 16 3 to 6 year olds and tons of tiny tots running around. But, all in all I have been having some fun. I have even managed to get away from Seoul a few times.

My roomate Madison and I headed down to Ulsan, on the south east coast to visit some college friends that are teaching there for the 4th of july. It was nice to hangout on the beach and see some old college friends.

The next weekend we headed down to Teachon Beach for the Mud festival with my friend Fiona. That was quite an adventure and included rolling in the mud and even a game of rugby.

After that crazy trip my sister came to visit me for a whole week. Madison and I showed her around Seoul and she got to be an honorary teacher at Kid's Gallery for the week. It was really nice having her around and be able to show her my life here in Korea.

Besides our little side trips Madison and I have managed to do a little hiking, explore some new parts of Seoul and get to know quite a few more koreans. We are pretty good and meeting new people all the time. Also, my classes have been fun, I have now done Winnie the Pooh, The Little Mermaid, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Annie and currently The Wizard of Oz. Each day has brought new challenges and I think I am finally beginning to understand how to teach korean kids.

I am looking forward to fall term starting. I am getting to teach a new section of dance classes and I will be choosing my plays for the term very soon. It should be pretty exciting. I will leave you with a few choice photos of the last few weeks.
